The Burning Bush is growing!

(Matthew 4:8) Again, the devil taketh (talking about Jesus) him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; (9) And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. (10) Then saith Jesus unto him, get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. satan promised Jesus he would give Him all the kingdoms of the world if he would fall down and worship Him. Jesus replied “Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” Think about it for a minute. Think about what satan said. Think about what Jesus said back to him. 1. satan said fall down and worship me. 2. satan told Jesus he would give all the kingdoms of the world if He would. 3. Jesus replied “Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve.” That says something to me about worship. When Jesus went to the cross he gave us much more than the kingdoms of this world. This world and its kingdoms will someday pass away. But, Jesus gave me eternal life. He promised me a mansion in His holy city. Plus, I escaped a burning hell that was created for the devil and his angels. He promised me so much more than satan could ever have to offer. And, I long for the day I will be able to "fall down" at the feet of Jesus and worship Him like He deserves.

I have a comment for you to think about. "IT'S A HEART THING."

A couple of days ago I had a,,, uh,,, ??????? we’ll say a "conversation" for lack of a better word, with a man and it wound up being about choices. This set me to thinking. Have you ever thought about how many choices you are faced with in a days’ time? I had never really noticed or thought about it before, but occasionally we face some kind of choice several times in an hour. You may say we don’t, be we really do. Most are so simple or insignificant that we don’t even realize we did it. You may be asking, why does it matter? Well, the thing about facing a choice is we must make a decision. When you have a choice to make, you have to make a decision. Most are ease decisions, we just do as we always do. But sometimes it goes a little deeper than the day to day decisions. Has anyone ever made a bad decision? You can’t see me but I’m holding my hand up. High. We make decisions in several different ways. # Experience. We know from experience what to do. # The situation drives the decision, and we "feel" we have no other choice. # We often take the easy way out. # We make decision based on what other will think. # We make decisions based on emotions. # We even say the devil made me do it. No he didn't. Occasionally we’ll make the wrong decision and we’re able to go back and change it. But sometimes we can’t. What about when you are faced with a life changing choice and you need to make a decision? Well my advice would be to spend time in prayer. However long it takes for an answer, pray. Also the bible is a book of answers for whatever question you have I’m looking around today at people and I wonder, “what were they thinking”? Or maybe I should say they weren’t thinking. I guess what I want to say is we need to always think before making any decisions. Some decisions cannot be corrected and will affect us the rest of our life. Think about that statement for a while. The very best decision I have ever made and will ever make, was when I decided to give my Life to Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit spoke to me, showed me the condition of my life, lost, and offered me salvation. I was faced with a choice. Should I continue my current path, headed for destruction? Or except the Lords offer and have eternal life? I chose Jesus. Or should I say He chose me. Whichever way you look at it, I am his child and he is my Father and there is nothing Satan do to change that. Choose wisely. It could change your life. John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. Good morning Facebook friends and family. Tomorrow we start a new year. It's another chance for something different,something better, or something new. Let's start it off looking to the Lord and Savior to guide and supply this next year. I know tomorrow is a holiday but The Burning Bush Community Church will have it's doors open for Sunday School at 10 o'clock and morning worship service at 11 o'clock. If it's time for something new in your life start by showing up in God's house in the morning and He'll take it from there if you'll let Him. 1027 Slate Road in King off Highway 66.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace........ Jesus is all of these and so much more. Without Jesus Christ no one, no where shall be born again. Acts 4:12 says Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

The Burning Bush Community Church is starting a Facebook prayer ministry. If you have a prayer requests or need prayer leave your request on the church page. We will be checking the page throughout the day and praying for you. If you are uncomfortable leaving your request all you need to do is ask for prayer, God knows the need. I am asking all The Burning Bush Community Church prayer woriors to share this. Or anyone may share this.

I thought it would be good to post the thing we are planning at The Burning Bush Community Church. We are located at 1027 Slate Road King. Calendar of events for The Burning Bush Community Church April 26th 11 0’clock: Friends and Family day. Preaching and singing followed with a meal provided by the church. April or May (day to be announced): 24 Hours of Prayer. We will be praying from 8 PM on Friday night until 8 PM on Saturday night. We want invite everyone to join us during this 24 hours to come and go as you wish. But someone from the church will be praying at all times. May (date to be announced): Gospel Fest. This event will be on a Saturday starting with a lunch meal provided by the church. The afternoon will consist of preaching and singing. Weekly events: -Sunday School every Sunday Morning at 10 o’clock -Morning Worship every Sunday morning at 11 o’clock -Youth Church Every Sunday morning at 11 o’clock -Sunday Night Worship service every Sunday night at 6 o’clock -Wednesday Night Prayer meeting at 7 o’clock weekly
